I’m Paige, I’m 26 and I’m a freelance social media manager specialising in the accommodation industry. I have a Bachelors degree in Marketing and have been working in social media specifically for 3 years. I’m hands on and very tuned into social media platforms.

You’re probably thinking, 26? What does she know about the industry?! 

Well, in early 2024, in a complete career switch up, myself and my partner took over his parent’s glamping site, Upsticks Glamping. And in two years I learnt more than any previous job, from marketing to operations, we did it all. And the experience gained is just irreplaceable.  

However, here I also learnt about the gap in knowledge there is when it comes to social media marketing. My passion for social media marketing in the accommodation industry really stems from my eagerness to help people. Whether that’s helping people by taking the social media burden off them and doing it myself so they can focus on their actual business or help owners with the time grow their understanding.
